How to Enable Pre-Order for a product?

You can allow customers to place orders in advance by enabling the pre-order option for your products. Follow the steps below to set this up using the PreCart plugin in WordPress.

Step 1: Open the Product for Editing

1. Log in to your WordPress admin dashboard.

2. Navigate to Products.

3. Click on an existing product you wish to enable for pre-order, or click Add New to create a new product.

Step 2: Access Pre-Order Settings

1. Scroll down to the Product Data section.

2. Look for the Pre-Order tab on the left-hand side.

Step 3: Enable Pre-Order

1. In the Pre-Order Tab, locate the option labeled Enable Pre-Order.

2. Check this box to activate the pre-order feature for the product.

Step 4: Set a Release Date

1. Enter the Release Date. This is the date the product will become available to customers.

   This helps set expectations and informs customers when they will receive their order.

Step 5 (Optional): Set a Pre-Order Limit

If you want to limit the number of pre-orders:

1. Enter the desired quantity in the Pre-Order Limit field.

Step 6: Save Your Changes

Click "Update" or "Publish" to save your settings and make the product available for pre-order.
